Guglielmo Profeti. Our collaboration with the well-known fashion and lifestyle photographer yielded a series of photographs in which Agricola Due Leoni products were placed in atmospheric interiors in Tuscany. One of Italy’s premiere fashion and product photographers.

Bulgarian-Cuban artist Magda Rumbaut contacted us. She drew, sculpted, cooked when we invited us to join our residency. And she came twice! Magda made a map of Sabina, of all the olive oil producers! Summer 2019.

In 2018, Agricola Due Leoni engaged Berlin-based filmmaker Hanna Hildebrand to take photos and create filmic works of the farm. Trained at the Portikus with Wolfgang Tillmans, Hildebrand brings a special poetry to her interpretation of food and agriculture--an eye schooled in art.

Pamela Breda (b. 1982) is a photographer and artist based between London and Italy. She is the winner of numerous prizes and awards and completed an MA at IUAV, with Cornelia as her thesis advisor. An early residency produced portraits of vineyards and olive groves, photographed by this sensitive artist.
2016

“How to Make a Salad,” with Alison Knowles, in Art Basel. Agricola Due Leoni provided the salad dressing. June 18, 2016.
Alison Knowles (b. 1933) is an American artist known for performances and artworks in which essential actions and natural process are alluded to in ludic and experimental ways. In a remake of her 1969 performance Make A Salad at ArtBasel, Agricola Due Leoni supplied the olive oil as the dressing to an enormous salad. With special thanks to the artist, Gallery James Lafuente, Hannah Higgins.
Lionel Estève, (b. 1967). Born in France, a longtime citizen of Belgium, with origins in Algeria, Lionel Estève visited Agricola Due Leoni in May 2016. He took over the garden house in the secret garden, spanning a green acetate curtain of the kind found in inexpensive textile shops into a gauzy summer soft sculpture that wafted gently in the breeze. On the walls hung three gilded poppy seeds, now in the collection of Marion Franchetti, as well as one painting by Mariella Simoni.

Emilio Corti. Collaboration with this artist based in Northern Italy, on the development of an initial logo for Agricola Due Leoni. Using centuries of heraldry and imagery, Corti distilled the iconography into a rambunctious pair of lions, rearing on their hind legs.

2014
Miltos Manetas (b. 1964) is a Greek painter and multimedia artist. He was a resident at Agricola Due Leoni from 2014 to 2017. His many works executed in his time at Agricola Due Leoni include tying videocassette tape all over the canteen, catapulting rugs in the air with a handmade catapult, naming a gallery after our helpful property supervisor, and inviting dozens of young people to join him in spontaneous happenings, at the farm he used as his studio, San Sebastiano, and along the river Farfa, among other venues. Many wonderful paintings were created.
2010-2014
An early series of editions by designer Matthew Pfahlert, and artists Diana Thater, Dennis Balk, Emilio Prini, Vladimir Radunsky.
These editions were curated by Cornelia Lauf, produced without a defined house image, and editioned in a very few copies only, along with certificates of authenticity. A larger prior partnership was dissolved and the new editions began under the name Agricola Due Leoni, in 2015, under the direction of Giuseppe Catalano di Melilli.
