Nicoletta Gualdi (1968) is an Italian ceramicist that lives in Rome. After having worked for many years with the traditional Italian earthenware clay, six years ago she started to experiment with porcelain. In her work she follows two main themes: on one side colorful geometric shapes and patterns; on the other forms inspired by nature in which she directly uses natural elements to create her pieces. Since 1994, she has a pottery studio where besides her own practice she runs ceramic workshops and collaborates with other artists.
